We will not consider the submission of resumes on this platform as an expression of interest in any posted position at CBRE. **About The Role:** As a CBRE Senior Property Condition Assessor, you will prepare complex Property Condition Reports and note deficiencies observed by a professional in architecture, engineering, or construction management. **What You'll Do:** + Conduct walk-through surveys to assess the condition of the property. Areas include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, structure and foundations, interiors and exteriors; etc. + This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and determining the values of land, property, and businesses. + Interview property owners, occupants, and other key members to collect information. + Review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance, and inspection reports. + Collect photographs of property systems and their condition for observation. + Prepare estimated costs for large repairs and improvements. + Act as an authority for specialties needed. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems. + Possess a wide understanding of own job field and some understanding of several job fields within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. + Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred. + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive approach. + Sophisticated math skills.
