Candlewood Suites an IHG Franchise and Best Western Plus Franchise called OH Complex, located on beautiful Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor; WA is looking for a general manager/operations manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk, housekeeping and maintenance operations
• Oversee the Director of Sales
• Leading and mentoring a small, dedicated team
• Manage budgets, payroll and basic franchise reporting
• Ensuring guest satisfaction and able to professionally resolve issues
• Maintaining brand standards and compliance
• Collaborating with ownership representatives on property goals and improvements

Qualifications

• Mandatory two or more years as general manager in a Franchise Hotel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Comfort with basic financials and scheduling
• A passion for hospitality and team development
• Flexibility on work schedule and must be available for weekends
