Network Administrator (Advanced Level)
Location: Cayce, South Carolina
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor wireless networks and proactively identify and remediate issues.
Support LAN, WLAN, and WAN connectivity on Windows , Mac , and mobile devices (e.g., tablets, phones, Apple devices).
Assist State Health Laboratory network connectivity on instruments and supporting systems.
Provide first and second-tier support for wireless and network connectivity issues.
Wireless Infrastructure & Deployment
Conduct onsite wireless assessments .
Create and maintain wireless heatmaps projecting network coverage using Ekahau units and iPads.
Perform enterprise wireless network deployments, installations, and upgrades .
Manage the lifecycle of wireless network devices.
Perform firmware, software, security, and feature upgrades.
Network Security & Device Management
Assist with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) registration of devices.
Support network security and firewall administration (Cisco/Palo Alto).
Administrative & Documentation Tasks
Monitor agency trouble ticket system and resolve assigned network tickets.
Document and maintain configurations, assessments, and deployment reports.
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb and work on ladders.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs .
3 years of experience in:
LAN, WLAN, WAN administration
Network administration using Cisco and/or Palo Alto Firewalls
Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
Ticketing system management
Valid driver's license
Ability to perform physical installation tasks (climbing ladders, lifting equipment)
